Who we are ?
At e-roe, we are reinventing everyday mobility
Every day in Europe, more than 70 million kilometers are driven over short distances, between 0 and 15 km. This represents a major opportunity for decarbonization.
The means of transport used today are not always the most suitable :
-
Bicycles lack carrying capacity, weather protection and safety.
-
The car, designed to carry a family on holiday, is too big and too expensive for this type of trip, and is subject to increasing regulatory constraints.

So we came up with new ways of getting around.

At e-roe, we're rethinking local mobility with solutions designed to cover all types of mobility between 0 and 15 km.

Driven by the desire to offer a more efficient, greener and better adapted alternative for short journeys, we are developing new-generation solutions designed to meet the real challenges of everyday mobility.

Our founders
Common vision and shared ambition
The founders met while working on electric mobility projects for a major international engineering consultancy group. They quickly shared a strong conviction:
that everyday mobility must be more sustainable and more economical.
Drawing on their complementary expertise, they decided to join forces on an ambitious project: to create solutions that are better adapted to the real needs of short journeys.
In June 2024, they founded e-roe to transform everyday mobility in Europe.

An industrial company
e-roe is an industrial company redefining the way it designs and produces products. Our approach is based on eco-design and DFM (Design For Manufacturing), ensuring that our solutions are almost infinitely durable thanks to optimised assembly and disassembly methods. From the earliest stages of development, we design our products taking into account their factory manufacturing process. To remain competitive with our non-European competitors, we optimise the design of our parts so that they can be produced automatically and robotically. We reserve human skills and intelligence for high added-value tasks, particularly during the assembly and quality control phases of our products. Each wear part can be completely dismantled, enabling remanufacturing (re-use of components to extend their lifetime), thus helping to reduce the ecological and economic impact of our products. It is with this industrial approach that we aim to offer products with a low environmental footprint over their entire lifespan, ensuring a balance between performance, durability and sobriety.
